Capture a usable request
Record the asset, observed symptom, location, operational impact and time detected. Attach relevant evidence when permitted. Separate the observation from an unverified diagnosis. Urgent hazards must follow the site emergency procedure rather than waiting in a software queue.
Triage and authorize
A planner or supervisor should verify the asset, priority, responsible team, approved job instructions, parts and access window. Required permits and energy-control approvals remain governed by qualified site personnel. Confirm which workflow gates are configured for your workspace.
Record execution evidence
Capture actual start and finish times, labor, parts used, observations and follow-up tasks. Preserve changes in scope and the reason for delays. If offline work is enabled, confirm successful synchronization before relying on the central record.
Review and close
Check that the work record is complete, the equipment handback is authorized and any unresolved issue has an owner. Classify the failure only when supported by evidence. Review repeat failures and reopened jobs to improve the next plan.
